Sierra

By early 2021, Sierra had already recorded and released 10 original tracks within a stream of singles and EPs. These included “Concrete Boxes”, “Mind/Body” and “The Crows”. Sierra has also had a lineup change, which injected the band with a newfound energy. The band now consists of Charlie Kempson (Vocals and Bass), Harry Bowden Ford (Guitar and Vocals), Richard Discombe (Guitar and Vocals) Maeve Clenaghan (Keyboard) and Tom Dummer (Drums) to complete the lineup. Sierra's music is a beautifully crafted blend of Electronic rock and Indie rock, which has helped build the band up this sonically pleasing repertoire and local fanbase. Sierra’s sound consists of strong lyricism, clean crisp guitar and atmospheric layering. Similar to the likes of Radiohead, Everything Everything, Tame Impala, The Strokes and so forth.
On the 30th of April 2021, Sierra released their greatly anticipated Double A-side of "Felicities Crystal/White Noise". The release carries much acclaim having been appraised across South-West radio, including BBC Introducing West, as well as taking the streaming and playlist era by storm featuring in many curated playlists.
Sierra in the follow-up to this released their first music video to accompany a previous single 'Lonely Spring'. The band ended the year embarking on a small summer and end-of-year tour across the South-West, featuring performances at the likes of The Exchange, The Thunderbolt and The Louisiana.
Setting 2022 off with a bang, Sierra hit the stage to a 100-plus strong crowd at The Louisiana for the launch of the new EP titled 'Screaming Into The Void'. The EP itself was the result of a long but fruitful creative process on the back end of 2021 which saw the band go from strength to strength with the new addition to the band in the form of keys and member Maeve Clenaghan. The EP was met with extraordinary reception which further showed the musical talent and power of the band, where many physical copies, USBs and stickers were distributed as a result.
Post this and going forwards, Sierra will embark on a small series of dates across the south and southwest before branching into new territories across the UK.
Sierra's latest endeavour saw them hit the shelves with their latest release of 'A Great Red Dragon', which you can find below.
